Ex-Louisville Basketball Standout and NBA Veteran Felton Spencer Passes Away at Age 55

Tammy Pollock, Spencer's youngest sister,  confirmed the tragic. "Our beloved Felton Spencer - former @uofl basketball legend, retired 12 year NBA veteran and 6th pick in the 1990 NBA draft, and former assistant college coach - passed away peacefully this afternoon," Pollock wrote on Twitter.

Felton Spencer, who played for the Utah Jazz, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, and San Antonio Spurs, has passed away at the age of 55.

He started his professional career in 1990 after being selected as the sixth overall pick in the NBA Draft, and he played for 22 seasons before retiring.
